Strengthening community HIV Prevention, treatment, care and support services in Uganda Project

Using Funds from CSF, this project was implemented in the districts of Mbale, Tororo, Kaberamaido, Jinja, Kampala, Mubende, Serere, Soroti, Lira, Kabale, Kanungu, Mbarara, Moyo, Arua and Mukono between January and September 2015.

The project  reached 375,411 individuals with Behavior change communication (BCC), 334,413 with HCT,139485 women with EMTCT services, provided SMC services to 11,702 males, distributed 14,041,425 condoms, 558026 pieces of IEC materials, 6295 individuals were enrolled into HIV care at the regional centres and 5780 clients were referred including enrolment of 36 children were identified for pediatric ART and the capacity of 417 individuals was built to provide the different services to the population.
