AIDS Information Centre (AIC) was awarded a 5-year grant by PEPFAR through the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) under Cooperative Agreement Number 5NU2GGH002506-01 titled “Soroti Regional Mechanism for Reaching and Sustaining Epidemic Control in the Republic of Uganda under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)” that commenced on September 30th 2023 until September 29th 2028.

Sexual Prevention (Condoms and Other Prevention), Biomedical Prevention (Injection Safety, Male Circumcision), Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV, Positive Health Dignity and Prevention (PHDP), HIV Testing and Services.

Palliative Care (non-ART), Basic Health Care & Support (excluding TB/HIV), TB/HIV and Nutrition.

Human Resources for Health, Commodities and supplies, strategic information, comprehensive health service delivery, leadership and governance of health systems, Laboratory Infrastructure and Laboratory Logistics

The pediatric care project, aligned with PEPFAR principles, prioritizes Palliative Care, Basic Health Care & Support, TB/HIV, and Nutrition.
