Project Overview

The project aimed at increasing utilization of health services by strengthening systems, improving quality of services, increasing availability of, access to and demand for quality services, and supporting the health sector to sustain higher service utilization rates. It was implemented from 2016 to 2020 and covered districts of Mbarara, Isingiro, Ntungamo, Kabale, Kisoroand Kanungu.

Key Results
Reached 46903 with HTS, 1473 (3%) tested HIV positive, linked 1467 (99%) to care; 90% on ART with suppressed viral load; Identified 2827 with GBV out of 29,636 screened; 2823 received post GBV care; Initiated 8051 on PrEP; distributed 34,621299 condoms.
