CDC/IDI: Kampala HIV Project ( 2018 to date)

Accelerating HIV epidemic control in Kampala region of Uganda. Provided HIV/ TB testing, prevention, care and treatment services to clients including KPs and PPs through differentiated community and facility-based approaches. Over 14,000 clients tested for HIV with 87% linkage of HIV positive clients and 1270 clients Started on treatment within the facility. Reached 3258 KPs and PPs with integrated HIV testing services; Initiated over 1,613 KPs and PP on PrEP; Provided comprehensive HIV/TB treatment services to over 247 KPs/PPs living with HIV within a period of 3 years; Achieved 95% viral suppression among PLHIV by 2020.
