Founded in 1990, AIDS Information Centre – Uganda (AIC) is one of the oldest and most experienced NNGO in Uganda providing Integrated HIV&AIDS care and support services; Sexual Reproductive Health and Gender Based Violence (GBV) Services among others. Visioned to  have “a Population free HIV&AIDS and other preventable health problems”, AIC has the widest HIV/AIDS and SRHR service delivery network in Uganda directly complementing the efforts of Ministry of HealthUganda AIDS Commission and Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development. Our mission is “To provide sustainable, collaborative and integrated HIV&AIDS and other related health services in Uganda”. Over the years, AIC has strategically established nine Service Centres around the country (Central, Eastern, Northern and Western), in the districts of Kampala, Jinja, Mbarara, Kabale, Lira, Soroti, Moroto, Arua and Mbale. Through these vibrant standalone regional Centres of excellence, AIC provides services to the general population and key populations (Sex Workers, MSM, Transgender and Injecting Drug Users (IDUs) in both rural and urban communities. AIC is also a founding member of the MenEngage Uganda.

AIC usually, prequalifies service providers for a period of three (3) years and these ended November 2022. We are therefore now inviting suitably qualified bidders to submit sealed bids for the works, services and supplies listed below for 2022-2025.

All interested bidders must submit the following additional documents;

  • Original general receipt for purchase of bidding document;
  • A copy of bidder’s Certificate of Incorporation/ Registration of Business names
  • Powers of Attorney and Company Form 20
  • A copy of bidder’s valid trading license;
  • A copy of bidder’s valid and current income tax clearance;
  • Audited books of account for the last Three (3) Years;
  • Each item constitutes a lot and must be applied for separately;

Pre-qualification submissions will be evaluated in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Authority (PPDA) Act, 2003 of the Government of Uganda. Pre-qualification is open to all eligible bidders.

The pre-qualification documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ushs.100,000 (Uganda Shillings, One Hundred Thousand only) for Head office bids and Ushs.50,000 (Uganda Shillings, Fifty Thousand only) for our branch bids (Lira, Soroti, Mbale, Jinja, Mbarara, Kabale and Arua).

The bidding document must be picked in person or by representatives of firms upon presentation of a receipt and an application letter to our Procurement & Disposal unit.

Pre-qualification submissions must be delivered to the address below at or before 11.00hrs on 20th February, 2023. Late submissions shall be rejected.
