South Western Region


The project seeks to implement interventions for HIV Prevention, Malaria Prevention and Treatment; Maternal, Newborn and Child Health; Family Planning; Nutrition, Early Childhood Development (ECD), Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH); HIV Counseling and Testing (HCT), Care and Treatment; Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV (PMTCT); Voluntary Male Medical Circumcision (VMMC); Tuberculosis, HIV and Multi-Drug Resistant (MDR) Tuberculosis services; Adoption of Healthy Behaviors and Positive Child Development Practices.

Better Outcomes - WEI

This project (Uganda Better Outcomes for Children and Youth in Eastern and Northern Uganda) is USAID funded. It is implemented by Bantwana WEI and subgranted to AIC. More Info coming soon..


RHITES-SW stands for Regional Health Integration to Enhance Services in South Western Uganda. It is USAID-funded project supporting 690 health facilities in the Southwestern Region of Uganda with comprehensive and high-quality health services. The project is implemented by EGPAF and sub-granted to AIC.

USAID Defeat TB Project

The USAID Defeat TB project is a five-year project (2017 – 2022) that aims to increase tuberculosis (TB) case notification, case detection and treatment outcomes through health system strengthening with the aim of ending the TB epidemic in Uganda. Defeat TB is working in collaboration with Ministry of Health - NTLP to strengthen TB Coordination structures and is committed to build capacity across all mult-sectoral levels involved in TB control to ensure effectice support and delivery of comprehensive TB services.
