AIDS Information Centre-Uganda (AIC) is a Non-Governmental Organization established in 1990 to provide HIV Counseling and Testing services (HCT). The organisation was founded as a result of a growing demand from people who wanted to know their HIV status. Today, AIC contributes to over 26% of the total number of people counseled, tested and given HIV test results in uganda. AIC has since evilved to include other HIV prevention, care and support services beyond HCT.

AIC uses a multi-faceted approach to increase HCT accessibility and laboratories and at outreaches. HIV Counseling and Testing (HCT) services are offered daily (even on Sundays and public holidays on appointments). AIC gives special attention to children and youth below 24 years of age, Couples, Uniformed personnel, Sex workers and their partners, People with disability, Employers and Cancer patients.
